Hold Onto Hope is a story about facing loss, finding beauty, and living forward in hope

I’M HAPPY TO MEET YOU

I’m so excited to share in friendship with you and introduce my new transformative faith journey, “Hold Onto Hope" for those of us walking through unexpected middle and peak year transitions.

The Message of Hold Onto Hope

My life went bonkers when my family and I experienced a significant setback that forced us to leave behind the home and life we loved. As a result, my ambitious plans were put on hold, and my projects, friendships, and family dynamics shifted dramatically.

For my entire fifth decade, I found myself navigating the tension of transition while waiting for God to change my circumstances and restore my previous life. However, instead of a change in my circumstances, I experienced a transformation in my heart and perspective. I discovered that it was possible to start anew at this stage of life.

With the restructuring of the landscape of my life, I spent more time in my kitchen and home creating welcoming gathering spaces for women undergoing similar changes. I discovered that the joyous change I sought wasn't about chasing youth, holding onto the past, or reinventing myself; instead, it was about growing deeper in my faith and allowing growth and change. Yes, things are different, and a new chapter was unfolding, but not with the big splashes that say you have arrived. Instead, I began to appreciate the simple joys of connection and the beauty around me, embracing a slower pace. I traded my heels for loafers and let go of the younger version of myself who believed she needed to achieve big dreams to feel valuable. I believe that becoming a more settled version of myself and how God created my life would lead me into a new set of opportunities filled with purpose, fulfillment, and beautiful surprises during this phase of life.

ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW CHAPTER?

“ When I shift my perspective, every stage of life holds its unique beauty. We can all dig in our heels at times, right? If I expect things never to change, I may miss the new chapters God has for me. If I tell myself, “You can do this, Jackie; God’s grace is with you,.” I might be surprised to find beauty in places I never expected. “
